Winter Owl – this precious little guy has symbols of snow, the Twin Mountains West of Santa Clara, and plants painted on his body. Each of these symbols are important as they represent life, sacred sites, and the cycle of life and the seasons.

All owls are messengers. They are also known as the Night Eagle. The owl sits in the East awaiting the morning light. The owl is the symbol for wisdom – for he can see what others cannot.
