This is a very simple, but unique cedar carving of a Navajo woman holding a lamb.  She is wearing a squash blossom necklace and a fringed shawl over her long skirt. There are native symbols carved into the surrounding wood. This is a very striking carving made from reclaimed fence posts from the Navajo Reservation.

Condition: Excellent- original condition- new
Provenance: Acquired from Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, Santa Fe.
