This gorgeous dual-sided corn maiden fetish is carved from blue-green turquoise with inlaid red coral and lapis. Corn Maidens, sometimes called the Grandmother of Light or Grandmother of the Sun, represent supernatural beings that give the gift of corn to the Zuni people. She is beautifully carved by one of the very talented member of the Quandelacy family of carvers.
