Description

This exquisite four shank ring has the most beautiful large variscite cabochon that is surrounded by deep red Mediterranean coral. This ring is stunning.

New Lander variscite is mined in Northern Nevada near the Lander Blue Mine. It has a beautiful dark spiderweb matrix, and is known for its wild patterns and color characteristics. This rare gemstone is so very unique that it is hard to find the same type twice. It is a very rare form of gemstone that is often confused with its near sister, turquoise. However, the location of the mine, New Lander, tells us that it is variscite rather than the turquoise mined at the nearby Lander mine.
