Natural #8 Turquoise is some of the highest quality turquoise and it makes stunning jewelry!  It is noted for its golden-brown distinctive spider web matrix and unique bright powder blue background.

This incredible size 8 ring has one large oval cut natural (untreated) #8 turquoise stone. The center cabochon stone is 3/8” wide and is 1 7/8” in length. The entire ring is 2” long and ½” wide. The single stone is highly matrixed with a beautiful brown. The mounting for this beautiful natural #8 stone is elegant in its simplicity – a deep smooth edge bezel based with simple stamping which is mounted on a stamped ring shank. Perfection!

This marvelous one-of-a-kind ring weighs 24 grams. The gorgeous soft turquoise color in the stone makes this piece great to wear with anywhere with any outfit.  The stone is a perfect match for the natural #8 turquoise in cuff DR 1550.

Number 8 turquoise reflects the number of the mine found in the Lynn mining district in Eureka County, Nevada, which is in the Northeast corner of the state. The mine has not produced turquoise for a number of years. The best, natural spiderweb material from the #8 Turquoise mine is rare and highly coveted today.

Condition: Excellent – original condition – new.
Provenance: Purchased from John Huntress who supplied the natural turquoise stones for the artist.
