Description
This is a simple – yet elegant – twist wire sterling silver cuff with hand-stamped arrow designs. Sunshine hand stamped the sterling silver before twisting the wire so the arrows are imbedded within the twists. The terminal ends are flattened to comfort and ease of wear. This little cuff is perfect to wear alone or stacked with similar cuffs for that Santa Fe look.
The nickname, ‘Sunshine’ was given to him by family members as a youngster because of his light-colored hair. He didn’t begin silversmithing and jewelry-making until the early 1990’s, when two of his older brothers are credited with having introduced him to silversmithing and teaching him jewelry-making techniques. Sunshine is well-known for his distinctive Navajo jewelry, and has won numerous awards in major shows, including Santa Fe Indian Market and Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial.
Daniel “Sunshine” Reeves is one of the star Indian jewelers of today. Everyone likes and enjoys wearing his beautiful jewelry because Sunshine makes it with a style that is all his own.
