Description

Alex’s signature designs are his petroglyphs, which are a wonderful blend of contemporary and traditional elements. Alex works in heavy gauge sterling and selects special stones, usually turquoise. He carefully works the turquoise stones into his petroglyph patterns creating an asymmetrical, but balanced placement.  Alex has developed a flair for unique combinations of design and color. To create his works of art, he first puts a layer of silver dust on the sterling silver base that gives the piece a nice textured finish adding a depth to the petroglyphs.

Inspired by the red rock petroglyph walls of the Four Corners area, this ring has a bear, a turtle, a dragonfly and two creation symbols, which are used to enhance and accent this beautiful diamond shaped ring.  The petroglyph symbols sit on a raised section of sterling silver, which has been dusted with silver dust to create a depth and added dimension. The outer edges of the center section are stamped with scallops, while the ends are stamped with triangles. This is truly a stunning piece of jewelry.

Creativity and perfection are the trademarks of Alex’s work. When you wear a piece of his jewelry, you can feel the artistry and the unique design that make the piece truly wearable art.
