Description

This is a classic Santo Domingo/ Kewa Pueblo small turquoise nugget necklace strung and gathered at the top into a single cord with a neat braid with the artist’s hallmarked disc at the top of the braid.The sterling silver disk is stamped with Frank Patina, Sr. hallmark.

Two to three heishi shells separate each of the beautiful nuggets of natural turquoise on each of the two strands.The natural turquoise nuggets have been individually pump drilled.   The piece is a longer length and nicely balanced, but delicate for this style of necklace.

Provenance: Purchased as old pawn from a gallery in Santa Fe by a private collector from Texas.
