Yesterday They Rode by Jerome Tiger
This painting evokes a deep feeling of sadness as a lone warrior gazes across a barren landscape visualizing the adventures and glory of yesterday. Realization creeps in as he lets his spear drop to the ground acknowledging that the days of riding free and glorious triumph are gone – gone forever.

His style has had a tremendous major influence in the development of contemporary Indian art influencing other Indian artists who succeeded him.
