Description

Torevia Crespin is well known for producing pieces of “wearable art”.  Often working with her husband, Delbert, she combines unique stones and shells in rich and bold patterns in creating large multi-color inlaid pieces.

This sensational necklace has three strands of jet beads enhanced with the gorgeous hues of the spiny oyster and turquoise. The ombre colors of the shells complement the shades of soft turquoise in the pendant and the side tabs. The repetition of jet in the inlay work creates a link to the strands of jet beads. Each of the pieces of shell and turquoise has been very carefully placed by hand on top of either jet or spiny oyster backing to hold it tightly in place.  This fabulous necklace will be a valuable addition to your collection of fine Native American jewelry.
