Geometric all the way! These wonderful square inlaid multi-stone earrings hang from the ears at an angle creating a diamond shape. The inlaid stones are set on a background of jet with very straight lines creating geometric patterns. The lovely turquoise is the primary stone with inlays of jet, spiny oyster and bone. For an added design element there is a row of very tiny sterling silver twist wire in the center of a line of jet.

The straight elemental geometric lines create a wonderful contrast to the diamond angle as the earrings hang on the ears.  Marvelous!

Chaslyn is the daughter of Delbert and Torevia Crespin and lives at Kewa Pueblo. It is apparent from her work that she learned to do mosaic inlay work from her parents, who are masters of this delicate inlay style.
