Description
This is a wonderful example of a Navajo rug woven with Churro wool which is over 100 years old.
The wool was hand carded, spun and dyed with natural vegetal dyes. There are lazy lines throughout the rug. This rug dates from around 1910-1920. It measures 50” by 80”.
Condition: The rug itself is in great condition for its age. There not holes or tears.
There is some staining/discoloration in a couple of places, which is visible in the photos.
Provenance: Acquired from a Private collector at Ghost Ranch.
