Description
This storage olla shows a wonderful plaited start knot and is very tightly woven. The design flows right into the rim as on many earlier baskets. This is a wonderful example of the baskets utilized by the Tohono O’odham for storage of grains and foods.
Condition: Original Condition: The colors have faded due to time, and there are a few stitch breaks
Provenance: Acquired from my family’s private collection.
