Description

The base of this incredible bolo is meticulously created in a minimalist style from heavy sterling silver. Sleek and understated, the silver is kept very simple with only twelve feathers on each side of the interior stones. The feathers are chiseled close to one edge creating somewhat of a fan effect.

By keeping the outside edges of the bolo simple, the eye is drawn to the center rectangle of natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabochons accented with strips of sterling silver and sugilite. The stones are carefully set in a cobblestone inlay and although they are in a slightly different pattern above and below the center line, they are perfectly balanced and pleasing to the eye.

Keeping with the svelte look of the bolo, the tips are handmade long cylinders, etched only with double, horizontal lines at the base. Tim has hand created the back of the bolo with loops and a stabilizing bar so this bolo with hang perfectly when worn.

Distinctive, elegant, and contemporary, this bolo will preside at meetings, go out to dinner, even to formal events, and happily spend casual weekends, too. It is just the thing to wear anywhere. Flawless workmanship and a fascinating stone combine for maximum effect, in the hands of this masterful artist.

Tim is a master silversmith whose work always exhibits flawless workmanship, attention to the smallest detail combined with beautiful natural stones to enhance each piece. This bolo is a must have for a serious collector of beautiful Native American jewelry.
