This year marks the 50th anniversary of the death of legendary artist Jerome Tiger, Creek Seminole. His wonderful works depicting the lives of Native Americans are featured this month at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, in Cowboys and Indians Magazine and at our Gallery. His highly collectable vivid paintings of everyday life included a natural tribal way of life – he painted what he knew. Jerome Tiger enjoyed acclaimed success during his short life winning numerous awards and recognition- his legacy of “spiritual vision, humane understanding, and technical virtuosity” continues.
